We are currently recruiting experienced Steel Fixers for a busy and well-established precast concrete factory based in Worksop. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and skilled tradespeople to join a growing team with the potential for long-term, permanent employment.
Key Details:
Location: Worksop
Rate: £23 per hour (CIS) for day shifts / £30 per hour (CIS) for night shifts
Hours: Approx. 50 hours per week, with both day and night shifts available
Duration: Ongoing work with potential to go temp-to-perm for the right candidatesAbout the Role:
Fixing steel reinforcement in a precast concrete production environment
Reading and interpreting engineering and technical drawings
Assembling and securing steel bars, mesh, and other reinforcement materials
Working to health and safety standards and within production deadlines
Collaborating with a team of tradespeople, supervisors, and factory staffRequirements:
Proven experience as a Steel Fixer, preferably in a precast or factory setting
Ability to work from technical and construction drawings
Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Own tools and PPE preferred
