Job Description
Trident Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a busy Therapies Surgery department on a locum basis. The successful candidate will manage a complex caseload and support patient flow across DMOPS wards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a complex Occupational Therapy caseload on DMOPS wards
* Support patient flow and contribute to efficient ward processes
* Lead and participate in parallel discharge planning
* Provide supervision and support to Junior Occupational Therapists
Requirements
* HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
* Previous Band 6 experience, or a strong Band 5 ready to progress within the NHS
* Experience with complex surgical caseloads
* Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
