Job Title: Band 3 Special School Nursing Assistant
This vacancy is within our city-wide Special School Nursing Service, supporting children and young people with complex health needs, including enteral feeding, during school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the delivery of high-quality care to children/young people in a school setting.
2. Contribute to safe growth measurement in line with the Healthy Child Programme.
3. Work within a multi-agency team under the supervision of the Team Leader, reporting to the special school nurse.
4. Undertake administrative duties to support service efficiency.
Details:
* Part-time, 30 hours/week, Monday to Friday, during term time with a 30-minute unpaid break.
* Experience working with children, especially those with complex needs, is desirable.
* Full competency-based training will be provided.
* An Enhanced DBS check is required.
