As a Rehabilitationist, you will play a vital role in helping patients adapt to and optimise their auditory implants. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide specialist rehabilitation, guiding patients through their hearing journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes for cochlear and bone conduction implant recipients
* Assess patient progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly
* Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers
* Collaborate with audiologists, rehabilitationists, and other professionals to enhance outcomes
* Contribute to research and teaching opportunities within the university setting
Qualifications
* Experience in rehabilitation for individuals with auditory implants or hearing loss (training will also be provided)
* Professional registration: HCPC, RCSLT, or equivalent
* Strong communication skills and a patient‑focused approach
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
