Overview
Volunteers on Wheels (VoW) urgently seeks more DRIVERS and ASSISTANTS for our VANS to help feed thousands of vulnerable people. VoW delivers to more than 30 Barnet and Brent based food banks with daily/weekly deliveries of surplus food to feed those in need. We require drivers and assistants to support our weekly (Monday to Friday) collection and delivery service, starting from 8:30am in Mill Hill NW7 and finishing around lunchtime.
If you believe in making a real difference to people’s lives, please consider joining our dedicated team as a van Driver or Assistant ASAP. VoW’s transportation logistics service is a vital link in distributing more than 1 million food parcels each year.

Charity
Volunteers on Wheels (VoW) collects and delivers food and other essential goods in bulk to and for food banks in North/Northwest London, Middlesex, Harrow and Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas. Food banks have limited volunteer numbers and say our transport logistics service is a vital link in the chain distributing more than 1 million food parcels per year to vulnerable members of our society.
Our service provides three additional social benefits: reduced food wastage, reduced fuel consumption, and reduced environmental impact.
VoW currently supports over 40 food banks who help more than 30,000 people per week.
