An established specialist claims consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Manager to lead a team and manage a varied caseload of complex marine and commercial claims.
This is a hands-on role combining technical claims handling, stakeholder management, and people leadership, with a strong focus on delivering efficient, high-quality outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a diverse portfolio of claims, including complex liability matters
* Leading, mentoring, and performance-managing a team of claims professionals
* Investigating, negotiating, and settling claims within agreed authority levels
* Building and maintaining strong client and supplier relationships
* Representing clients in mediation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution forums
* Providing clear written and verbal reporting to senior stakeholders
* Supporting loss prevention initiatives and continuous improvement

* Significant experience in a senior claims handling or management role
* Strong technical knowledge and confident decision-making ability
* Proven leadership and team management experience
