Duties
* Supervise and lead the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food production.
* Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
* Implement and enforce food safety protocols to comply with health regulations.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and customer service.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients while catering to customer preferences.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or restaurant environment.
* Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
* Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
* Extensive culinary experience with a solid understanding of hospitality principles.
