Veterinary Surgeon Independent | No OOH | 4 Day Week | North London - Good M25 Access Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 DOE Full Time: 40 hours over 4 days | Part Time Considered (3 days) An independent small animal practice is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with 3 years’ experience to join their friendly and supportive team. This role has become available as one of their current vets is moving on to pursue a specialist internship, creating an excellent opportunity for a vet who enjoys a varied caseload within a well-equipped, close-knit practice. With over 80% insured clients, the team are able to work cases up to a high standard and practise quality veterinary medicine. The Practice This is a well-established independent small animal practice with a strong reputation locally and a genuinely supportive team environment. The practice is fully equipped with modern facilities and benefits from a loyal client base that allows for a thorough approach to diagnostics and treatment. Facilities include: Digital full body X-ray Digital dental X-ray Doppler flow ultrasound Class IV therapeutic laser Bespoke dental suite Separate dog and cat kennels Separate dog and cat waiting areas The practice is also proud to hold: RCVS Practice Standards Scheme Accreditation ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Clinic Award The team currently consists of: 2 Veterinary Surgeons 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses 1 Veterinary Care Assistant 1 Full-time Receptionist The Role This role offers a nice balance of surgery and consults within a supportive and collaborative team. The practice sees a wide variety of small animal cases, including some small furries, offering a varied and interesting caseload. With no out-of-hours commitments, the role provides an excellent work-life balance while still offering strong clinical exposure. Hours & Salary Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 DOE and additional certificates Full-time: 40 hours per week (Typically worked across 4 days) Part-time applicants considered (3 days per week) 1 in 3 Saturdays – mornings only No OOH – Closed on Sundays About You The practice is ideally looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with 3 years’ experience who enjoys both medical and surgical work.
