Rates Class 1: Class 1 Driver days - £15.11 (approx. £ 831.05 weekly, circa £ 43,214.60 per annum) Class 1 Driver nights - £16.62(approx. £914.10 weekly, circa £ 47,533.20 per annum) Rates Class 2: Class 2 Driver days - £14.60(approx. £803.00 weekly, circa £ 41,756.00 per annum) Class 2 Driver nights - £16.35(approx. £899.25 weekly, circa £ 46,761.00 per annum) Benefits: Consistent regular ongoing work and job security Pension scheme Supportive, customer-focused team Mentor and Mental health first aider available. Duties: Driving and Delivering: Operate articulated lorries (HGVs) over 3.5 tonnes, transporting goods to various locations, including local, national deliveries. Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading of vehicles to ensure that all items are secured properly for transit, minimizing the risk of damage. Route Planning: Plan delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations, adapting to traffic and weather conditions as necessary. Customer Interaction: Maintain regular contact with site personnel and provide exceptional customer service during deliveries. Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies, including vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any issues.
