Job Description: Supply Chain Manager at Drinks & Treats (maternity-cover, fixed-term role until the end of 2026) Location: Slough, UK Job Description As a Supply Chain Manager at Drinks & Treats, you will be responsible for setting up and managing our operational ways of working and supply delivery to meet demand requirements. This will be achieved through the management of co-manufacturers, distributors & hauliers as well as Mars factories. The role is integral to the delivery of our UK plan and, as such, plays a significant role in Drinks & Treats' total business results. As an operationally independent unit within Mars Snacking, this role provides a unique opportunity for cross-functional working and building business breadth. This role sits within Drinks & Treats, which is an operationally independent, entrepreneurial Unit within Mars Snacking. We operate with Strategic Co-manufacturing and Distributor partners to bring quality products to market with speed and agility. We actively seek to test new opportunities. We are a demand-led organization that values speed to market, cross-functional working, quick decision-making, and breadth of thinking. The roles in the organization are, by their nature, broader and more flexible in scope. Whilst we operate independently, Drinks & Treats are strategically connected to the Regional business, offering complementary technologies and bringing our brands into the wider snacking categories. What will be your responsibilities? Leadership Responsible for the supply chain performance and fit for the future across several different categories Operational responsibility for our Strategic UK Distributor partner Develop strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders (Internal and external) to ensure we are the customer and supplier of choice Line Management of 3 x professional Supply Planning contractors Performance & Delivery Responsible for the delivery of all supply metrics in your areas– CSL, OTIF, NQCs, Period End accuracy Ensure clarity and understanding of the demand forecasts, providing factual challenge as required. Provide clarity on supply performance, risks, opportunities and resource requirements to deliver the operating plan. Continuous Improvement Identify and leverage opportunities to enable growth and create efficiencies within the team and supply chains, through process, structural or digital improvements. What are we looking for? Educated to degree level or equivalent 5 years of leadership experience in FMCG Supply Chain (S&OP) planning Experience of working with 3rd party co-manufacturers, ideally from start-up through operational running and review Exceptional problem- solving skills A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes Knowledge of Import/Export requirements is an advantage Experience of working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment is an advantage Excellent communication skills with good knowledge of written and spoken English Minimum of three days per week in the office, occasional travel to co-manufacturer sites in the UK and EU.
