Reed Further Education are currently supporting a Birmingham-based college in their search for a Health & Social Care Lecturer to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis until the end of the academic year.
This role is ideal for a passionate and learner-focused lecturer who is able to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and support students to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Deliver and assess Health & Social Care courses across relevant levels
* Plan and prepare engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
* Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
* Support students with their academic development and progression
* Maintain accurate and timely records in line with college requirements
Qualifications
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
* A relevant Health & Social Care qualification
* Experience teaching Health & Social Care within FE or a similar setting
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
