The role: Operations Analyst
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Operations Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role is pivotal in supporting our operational efficiency and research capabilities, working closely with senior management.
Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Analyst, you will be central to managing our digital presence, internal systems, and operational reporting. Your core responsibilities will include:
Digital content & engagement
* Content management: Manage and prioritise the content calendar for our social media channels (LinkedIn and Instagram), including creating, scheduling posts, and fostering online engagement.
* Newsletter production: Develop content for the company's regular newsletter.
Technology & System Management
* Operational systems maintenance: Serve as the internal system administrator, ensuring the accurate maintenance and synchronisation of our core technology tools, including the MindSeed platform, ScoreApp, and the company website.
* Product catalogue: Manage and maintain the company's product catalogue, ensuring data accuracy and control.
* Troubleshooting & support: Act as the first line of support for internal technical issues, ensuring satisfactory resolution and minimal disruption.
* Onboarding & training: Onboard and train new associates and employees on our operational systems, ensuring they are proficient and comfortable with the tools.
* Document preparation: Prepare all new MindSeed documents for final review by the Managing Director and Impact Business Advisors.
* Platform feedback: Attend MindSeed onboarding calls, meticulously documenting learnings and feedback to drive future platform iterations.
Ethical AI & Innovation
* AI Implementation: Explore and implement innovative, ethical AI approaches to enhance various operational areas, including content calendar management, system maintenance, and service development.
* AI Training: Provide continuous oversight of AI operations in the business including ethical and responsible use of AI tools.
Reporting & analysis
* Dashboard production: Produce the fortnightly Marketing and Sales Dashboard to track performance and inform strategic decisions.
* Data management: Manage data within the Active Campaign system, including task review.
* Customer feedback loop: Manage feedback mechanisms for customer experience (including offboarding), capturing "wow moments" and utilising data to improve services.
Candidate requirements
We recognise this is a challenging role but we believe that for someone with a proactive and curious attitude with a keen eye for detail this is a fantastic development opportunity.
Must-haves:
* Digital fluency: Strong digital skills and familiarity with current technologies (e.g., proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and an interest in or familiarity with AI tools).
* Sustainability interest: A genuine interest in the field of sustainability and its impact on business.
* Numerical competence: Proven capability in handling and interpreting data.
* Communication skills: Strong, confident, with professional verbal and written communication.
* UK Right to Work: Full legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
* Location: The ability to commute to London fortnightly for team collaboration and innovation.
Nice-to-haves:
* Prior understanding or experience in the sustainability field.
* Qualifications or experience relevant to finance, business or marketing.
* Based in SW Hertfordshire.

Our recruitment process
We are running a structured, multi-stage process to find the best candidate.
* Application screening: We will review your application and answers to our screening questions. All applicants who pass this stage will receive a response.
* First-round interviews: A shortlist of 7–10 candidates will be invited for an interview with members of the team.
* Skills test: 4-5 candidates will be invited to complete a practical skills test focusing on numerical and digital/AI competencies.
* Final interview: The final 3–4 candidates will be invited for an interview with senior management.
* Optional Final Round: A final discussion may be held with a wider leadership team if necessary.
