About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Key Account Sales Manager to manage and grow relationships with high-value clients for our trade show events and sponsorship offerings across multiple shows. This role is ideal for a sales professional accustomed to working with large-scale clients and closing substantial deals. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue and ensuring client satisfaction, managing a portfolio of key accounts while achieving ambitious sales targets, including a £1m annual revenue goal.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve the sales targets
* Build and nurture strong relationships with high-value clients, ensuring their expectations are exceeded and long-term partnerships are established.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and through strategic prospecting.
* Lead negotiations, closing substantial deals for event participation, sponsorships, and other offerings.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align client objectives with event deliverables.
* Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular performance updates to senior management.
* Represent the brand at industry events and networking opportunities to enhance client relationships and explore new business avenues.
* Visiting clients for face to face meetings
About You:
* Proven track record of success in B2B sales, ideally within events, media, or sponsorship sales.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and grow key accounts, delivering consistent revenue growth and client satisfaction.
* Strong commercial acumen and expertise in closing high-value deals.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior decision-makers.
* Results-driven, with a relentless focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Experience managing complex client relationships, balancing high expectations with practical deliverables.
* Organized and strategic, capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management tools to track and optimize performance.
