It is a practical, outdoor, process-driven position where you will be directly involved in turning waste materials into sustainable fuel. You will be working on a 24/7 processing site, helping convert waste oil into biofuel and aviation fuel as part of a circular economy operation. This is a varied role across the tank farm and processing plant, combining manual handling, plant operation and process monitoring. You will play a key part in keeping production running safely and efficiently. What You Will Be Doing Unloading incoming tankers and connecting pipework safely Sampling and testing raw materials against specifications Filtering waste oil and removing contaminants Loading and operating processing equipment including heating and centrifuge systems Monitoring plant performance through control systems Handling and processing materials safely, including regulated waste streams Completing accurate paperwork and recording data Supporting safe loading of finished product for dispatch Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance This is a true industrial site environment: Outdoor, yard-based and factory-based work Strong smells due to waste processing materials Physically demanding with regular lifting and movement Exposure to waste materials, including unexpected contaminants Full PPE provided and required at all times If you enjoy active, hands-on work and being part of a process, it will suit you well. What We Are Looking For Experience in a manufacturing, production or processing environment Comfortable working in a dirty, strong-smelling industrial setting Physically capable of manual handling and active work Able to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating pattern Own transport due to site location Experience working to strict health and safety standards Exposure to sampling, testing or quality checks FLT licence or experience operating plant equipment Any background in oil, chemical or heavy process industries Hours and Pay 4 on 4 off shift pattern (non rotating) Days: 6am - 6pm - £15.15 per hour Nights: 6pm - 6am - £16.15 per hour 30-minute break every 2 hours - 3 breaks paid Benefits 20 days holiday plus birthday off, increasing with service Regular paid breaks throughout your shift Company events and team days On-site facilities including showers and break areas Subsidised vending Ongoing investment in site improvements and automation Stable, growing business within the energy sector This is a business investing in the future of sustainable fuel, where your work directly contributes to turning waste into energy.
