Groundworks & Civil Engineering Projects
A leading groundworks and civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. With a strong pipeline of residential, infrastructure, and civil engineering projects across the region, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business delivering high-volume and technically challenging schemes.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for multiple groundworks and civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will work closely with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing cost control across multiple groundworks and civil engineering projects
* Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management
* Reviewing tender documentation and supporting pricing and xsngvjr contract administration
* Monitoring project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting
* Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
* Liaising with site teams, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
* Supporting senior commercial leadership with reporting and strategic input
