Technical Supervisor Facilities Management – Electrical Background Day Shift Pattern: Mon to Fri 7am to 4pm followed by Mon to Fri 1pm to 10pm Central London Salary Guide: £58,000 Overtime We are recruiting now for a Technical Services Supervisor with an Electrical background to work on a prestigious corporate account in the heart of the West End. The role of Technical Services Supervisor is to oversee a team of engineers carrying out PPM and reactive works alongside specialist contractors, ensuring high standards of Health & Safety for all. The successful application will ideally have an electrical bias as well as knowledge of HVAC works. Duties of the role include: * Ensure client equipment and systems are operating correctly to enable client operational needs and to escalate issues where appropriate where outputs are at risk. * Assist with work order prioritisation, including communication with DigiHub/Helpdesk and end users over repair requirements. * Diagnose faults and repair assets within technical capability. * Quality assure technical activities against Global Engineering Standards and industry best practice, including employees and sub-contractors working on client’s behalf. * Carry out like for like asset replacement and minor new works as directed. * Build professional relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors and site based and remote teams. * Support the training and development of staff within the team. * Awareness of cost/benefit applicable to the tasks performed. * Awareness of sustainability and the impact from technical services delivery. * Ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times and its contractors, by correct use of Safe Systems of Work, including RAMS, LOTO, etc. Requirements of the person: * Technical competence with NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications, preferably within an electrical discipline * Practical technical skills and current working knowledge of engineering standards and best practice. * Practical experience of working independently in a technical maintenance environment * Practical experience of working to health and safety standards * IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office applications and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems * Ability to self-manage and self-plan workload to meet set deadlines. * Ability to communicate with customers and team members
