Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sheffield from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a Key Stage 2 classroom, supporting pupils' learning and development on a full-time basis.
About the Role:
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning activities, provide one-to-one or small group interventions, and contribute to a positive and engaging classroom environment. Your role will be vital in helping pupils reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within KS2
* Be confident supporting children with varying abilities, including those with additional needs
* Be proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
* Have excellent communication skills and a passion for education
* Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
