Job Description
The Financial Accountant will have the following responsibilities;
3. Manage and oversee the capital expenditure accounting processes.
4. Prepare and reconcile capital expenditure reports.
5. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial tracking.
6. Review and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.
8. Provide support during audits and implement any necessary recommendations.
9. Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
10. Assist with financial reporting and analysis as required.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Financial Accountant should have:
11. A recognised qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
12. Experience in capital expenditure or fixed asset accounting.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
15. An understanding of financial reporting and compliance standards.
16. The ability to work collaboratively across teams in a retail environment.
