The role of a Security Coordinator is vital for maintaining a safe and secure environment on campus. The role will primarily be on the night shift, with a requirement to work on days when needed. You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the team, ensuring adequate coverage is always maintained on campus. The candidate will assign tasks, monitor and uphold high standards of team performance, and conduct regular briefings and training sessions.
Other duties include implementing security protocols and procedures, managing access control systems, conducting and coordinating patrols and inspections to ensure compliance, leading and overseeing daily security operations, and providing effective leadership during incident responses such as fires, evacuations, or medical incidents, ensuring emergency procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading large security teams, preferably within the educational sector, and a passion for making a positive difference. They should work well within a team environment.
