Sports Graduate – SEND School

Location: Ealing

Type: Full Time

Working Hours: 08:30 am – 16:00 pm.

Salary: £100-£105 per day

Are you a passionate Sports Graduate ready to inspire young minds and promote physical well-being? Do you have the drive, empathy, and creativity to support students with diverse needs in a learning environment? If so, this is the perfect opportunity to blend your love for sports with a rewarding role in education.

We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for children and young adults. Our students face a range of challenges, including Autism, Learning Difficulties, SEMH, ADHD, and Complex Needs. Our mission is to empower every student to achieve their potential—academically, socially, and physically.

The Role: Sports Graduate

As a Sports Graduate, you’ll wear two hats: a Learning Support Assistant and a PE leader. In the classroom, you’ll support students in their academic and personal development. On the field or in the gym, you’ll inspire a love for physical activity, promoting health, teamwork, and resilience. This role offers invaluable experience in a special education setting and is ideal for graduates looking to launch a career in education, youth work, or sports coaching.

Key Responsibilities

* Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering lessons, adapting materials to meet students’ needs, and ensuring every child is engaged and supported.
* PE Leadership: Plan and lead engaging, ability-appropriate PE sessions that inspire participation and foster a lifelong love of sports.
* One-on-One Support: Provide tailored assistance to individual students or small groups, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.
* Student Well-being: Motivate and encourage students to build confidence, develop social skills, and cultivate self-esteem through physical and social activities.
* Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a nurturing, inclusive environment.
* Progress Monitoring: Track and document student achievements, providing constructive feedback to teachers, parents, and other professionals.
* Safety and Supervision: Ensure students’ safety and well‑being during activities, promoting positive behaviors and fostering a secure environment.
* Team Engagement: Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development to continually enhance your skills.

What We’re Looking For

* A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.
* Passion for supporting children and young adults with special needs, and a desire to make a lasting impact.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and inspire trust.
* Enthusiasm, patience, and a positive, adaptable attitude.
* The ability to motivate and engage students, both in the classroom and during physical activities.
* Experience working with young people or special needs students (preferred but not essential).
* A collaborative spirit and commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Benefits

* Get paid in line with national scales (AWR compliant)
* Free CPD sessions
* Your own dedicated consultant
* Receive a £50 Amazon voucher when you refer friends!
* Wellbeing support, travel discounts, and retail offers from our partners

All applicants must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting work. Full assistance will be provided.
