We are seeking a compassionate, organised, and proactive care navigator to join our friendly and dynamic General Practice Team. As a key member of our frontline team, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients—helping them access the right care, at the right time, with the appropriate professional.
This is more than a receptionist role. You will be trained in care navigation, a vital skill that ensures safe, timely, and appropriate care. The Care Navigator is the first point of contact for patients, supporting them in accessing the right care, at the right time, in the right place. This non-clinical role combines administrative and signposting responsibilities with a focus on improving patient experience, reducing pressure on clinical staff, and supporting wider care coordination within the practice and across health and social care networks.
Richmond Clinic is a small, traditional GP-led practice. We have 3 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 2 nurses, 6 care navigators, 2 admin staff, Deputy Practice Manager, and Practice Manager. We are situated close to the M4, J25, providing easy access from Cardiff, Bristol, and Monmouth.
