We are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated SEN team in Warrington. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed Teaching Assistant who wants to support children with learning disabilities (LD) and help them thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work as a Teaching Assistant alongside the class teacher to provide tailored support
2. Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions as an SEN Teaching Assistant
3. Encourage independence, communication, and resilience in pupils
4. Support the class teacher in managing behaviour and classroom routines
5. Act as a reliable Teaching Assistant who pupils can trust and depend on
The Ideal Candidate:
6. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally supporting SEN or LD
7. Knowledge of strategies to help children with learning disabilities
8. A calm, empathetic approach suited to a Teaching Assistant role in SEN
9. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
10. A relevant qualification such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential)
