Welsh Speaking Communications Operator needed in St Asaph Denbighshire

The successful candidate will play a vital position handling 999 and 101 calls.
This is a fast-paced, rewarding career where no two days are the sameoperators may deal with cases ranging from missing persons to crimes in progress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Initial Investigation: Assess risk, gather evidence, and provide crime prevention advice.
* Collaborating with Partners: Work alongside emergency services and external agencies.
* Providing Advice: Guide callers and manage expectations about police capabilities.
* Recording Intelligence: Capture community information to support future policing.
* Service Delivery: Maintain professionalism while handling high call volumes.
Shift Patterns:
* Core schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off, with 1012 hour shifts (2 days, followed by 2 nights).
* Full-time workers get schedules 32 weeks in advance, part-time workers 64 weeks in advance.
* Initial training is 6 weeks full-time in St Asaph or Colwyn Bay.
Level 4 Welsh language skills required.
