About the Role
This entry-level, performance-first role is ideal for someone who lives for the chase. You’ll be responsible for generating leads, qualifying opportunities, and building your outbound pipeline using tools like Barbour ABI, LinkedIn, and direct outreach. Instead of administrative tasks, you’ll focus on picking up the phone, opening doors, and driving deals. You’ll receive training from the MD and Sales Director, with a clear path to promotion into Regional Sales Manager or BD Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Build outbound pipelines targeting fabricators, developers, contractors
* Achieve daily/weekly outreach targets: calls, emails, connections
* Book meetings and generate 3–5 strong leads weekly
* Utilize ABI, LinkedIn, CRM, and cold outreach to fill the sales funnel
* Collaborate on quotes and track progress via CRM (Capsule)
* Manage prospects from first contact to conversion
Compensation & Growth Path
Base Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience
Commission: 8% of net margin on self-generated deals; 4–5% on company-supplied leads
Quarterly Bonus: £500 – £750 for exceeding activity and conversion targets
Loyalty Bonus: £1,500 after 12 months if targets and conduct benchmarks are met
Year 1 OTE: £38,000 – £50,000+ with uncapped earning potential
What We’re Looking For
* 1–3 years experience in sales, telesales, or cold outreach (B2B preferred)
* Confidence in cold calls, follow-ups, and LinkedIn prospecting
* Highly driven, target-focused, and resilient to rejection
* Ability to work independently, track progress, and learn quickly
* Curiosity about construction; training provided
