As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and commissioning industrial automation systems for a diverse portfolio of projects. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept and specification through to commissioning and customer handov
er.This role offers a mixture of office-based engineering work and site commissioning activities, providing exposure to a wide variety of automation technologies and applicatio

* ent.Carry out system testing, FATs, SATs, and customer demonstrati
* ons.Perform on-site commissioning, fault finding, and troubleshooting activit
* ies.Integrate industrial communication networks and fieldbus syst
* ems.Work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and customers to ensure successful project deliv
* ery.Support continuous improvement initiatives and technical development within the engineering t

Essential Require
* mentsProven experience as a Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, or PLC Software Engi
* neer.Strong Siemens TIA Portal programming experi
* ence.Experience developing PLC software from first princi
* ples.Knowledge of HMI development and industrial communicat
* ions.Experience commissioning automation systems within manufacturing or industrial environm
* ents.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abili
* ties.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control system documenta
* tion.Excellent communication and customer-facing sk
* ills.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for commissioning activi
ties.
