Ashfield Extrusion Limited is a single‑site UK manufacturer of aluminium impact extrusions located in Kirkby‑in‑Ashfield. We supply a wide range of industries including packaging, medical and military, both the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities
* Prepare despatch documents, invoices and customer paperwork
* Email invoices, statements and customs documents to customers and transport partners
* Update Excel spreadsheets for deliveries, planning and stock
* Debt chasing and general filing
* Support sales order processing and create internal purchase orders
* Assist with month‑end reporting
* Cover payroll and sales admin duties when required
* Providing other Ad-Hoc support as and when required
Qualifications
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Access, Supply Chain would be advantageous
* Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently
* Experience using Sage 50 Payroll is desirable, but training will be provided
* Confident communicator with colleagues, suppliers and customers
Experience in an Office Admin or Accounts Assistant role is essential and experience working within a manufacturing business would be desirable but is not necessary. Any training required will be provided and any additional support will be tailored to the successful applicant.
Benefits
* Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
* Pension: 3% employer contribution with a 5% employee contribution
* Sick pay: Full pay for up to 13 weeks in any period of 12 months
* Hours of work: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday
08:00 - 14:30 Friday - Alternate Fridays worked
* Holidays: 24 per year plus statutory
