BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER Sales Team | Fully Remote role with travel across the North East Leeds/York/Hull About Us This role is for a dynamic private equity backed organisation guided by core values of integrity, boldness, impact, and community. The Role We're seeking a talented and highly organised Business Development Manager to join a national Sales Team focusing on the North East region across Leeds, York and Hull specifically. This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth across all brands, working alongside talented colleagues in operations, bids, and marketing. As the Business Development Manager, you'll own the complete sales cycle - from prospecting and tendering through to winning new business and nurturing lasting client relationships. What You'll Be Doing Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline by researching opportunities, qualifying prospects, and strategic planning Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact through to contract close Work closely with operations and bid teams to develop compelling proposals and tender responses Oversee the creation of sales documents including pre-qualification submissions, tenders, presentations, and promotional materials Coordinate site visits, presentations, and client meetings to ensure seamless engagement Support and host events for clients, prospects, and consultants Build and maintain strong relationships with key consultants, prospects, and existing clients Represent company values, vision, and operational approach to the market What We're Looking For Proven track record in sales ideally in education, B&I (Business & Industry), or healthcare OR: Experience in operations with exposure to bids and sales processes Genuine passion for food and social impact Strong interpersonal and communication skills comfortable engaging confidently from the kitchen to the boardroom Resilience, decisiveness, and the ability to thrive in a performance-driven environment Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and time management Proficiency in Microsoft Office (database management or Adobe Suite experience is a bonus) Exceptional writing and presentation skills Self-motivated team player with strong drive and ambition Confident communicator in writing and speech
