Veterinary Physiotherapist

We are now seeking a Veterinary Physiotherapist to support our passionate and friendly rehabilitation team.
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and approachable person who is a great team player but is also able to use their own initiative and self-motivate. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to multi-task and a flexible approach to working, are essential.
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and post-qualification experience in performing physiotherapy for small animals. Experience in a veterinary referral centre is desirable but not essential.
Part-time hours: 24-30 hours per week across Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Some weekend work may be required.
Please note, candidates must be able to work independently in the UK, as we are not able to offer visa sponsorship.
This role is ideal for someone seeking career progression in the veterinary industry within a nurturing and fun environment.
General duties include:
1. Provision of physiotherapy to patients within the hospital and on an outpatient basis.
2. Liaison with clinicians, veterinary nurses, and owners to ensure a coherent patient care plan.
3. Contribution to the implementation and validation of clinical quality assurance measures.
4. Communication and advice to owners of patients, including emotional support.
5. Ensuring equipment within the area of specialism is maintained and sourcing new equipment when required.
6. Ensuring all patient treatments are charged and paid for at the time.
7. Participation in outpatient clinics and maintaining patient records, ensuring documentation is complete.
8. Assisting with data collection for gait analysis, teaching, and research purposes.

We routinely use computerised gait analysis to diagnose complex lameness and monitor recovery, optimizing outcomes and reducing recovery times.
