Description Your role We are looking for an Associate Technical Service Engineer to join our 3rd line infrastructure engineering team. Your role will involve working within a very dynamic operations team who support Linux, storage, virtualisation and backup environments. The role requires a self-motivated person who will be energised learning the vast array of different technologies. You will need strong inter-personal skills and be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels. This team is working with a customer who is in embarking on a major technical refresh so there will be plenty of challenges and opportunities to learn for the right person. Your Transferable Skills and Experience Good technical knowledge and understanding of server infrastructure and operating systems Be able to demonstrate applying your knowledge in a technical support environment Proven track record of engagement in change and project implementation Proven record of Incident/Problem/Change Management You must be willing and eligible to undergo required Clearance for this position. Note: This position is based in Belfast due to the proximity to the DCs. This is a hybrid role, the person appointed will initially be expected to attend the office to support training.
