 
        Job Description Health Care Assistant | Harrogate Clinic | 34 hours per week | Permanent | Free Parking & Excellent Benefits | Spire Harrogate are looking for a Healthcare assistant to join the team on a part time basis. We are looking for someone with experience in an outpatient/clinic/GP Practice or similar background. Spire Harrogate Clinic provides outpatient and day case treatments by a team of dedicated consultants and healthcare professionals. The clinical specialties include ophthalmology, dermatology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, and a private GP service. Clinic Shift Times 8-16:00/17:00 8-18:00 10-20:00 12-20:00 8-20:30 Clinic Opening Hours Monday - Friday 0800-20:00 Saturday 0800-16:00 Sunday - Closed The Responsibilities Of This Role Will Include Assisting the team across outpatients and theatres in the provision of exemplary patient care Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person Assisting with the movement of patients in line with clinic policies The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinic or hospital environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in : ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations - Desirable Good team work ethic Enthusiastic and energetic professional Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care /Care Certificate / NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential We offer employees a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options 'Spire for you' reward platform - discount and cashback for over 1000 retailers Free Bupa wellness screening Private medical insurance Life assurance Spire Healthcare is committed to creating an environment that will attract, retain and motivate its people.
