Job Role: Offshore Field Engineer - Electronics
We are currently seeking an Offshore Field Engineer - Electronics to join our industry-leading client in a permanent role.
Responsibilities
1. Install, commission, service, and repair the full range of products on customer premises, rigs, vessels, and dockyards worldwide.
2. Submit regular and comprehensive communications, including updates and documentation (e.g., Visit Reports), and raise Support Cases using the CRM system during and after offshore and onshore assignments.
3. Comply with all customer-mandated health & safety rules, whether onshore or offshore, as specified via HSE scope of work, pre-work inspections, toolbox talks, and specific on-site requirements.
Experience Sought
1. Experience working offshore, including confined spaces, adverse weather conditions, operating as a sole operator, and dealing with challenging customers.
2. Experience with installation, repair, service, and commissioning of equipment interfacing with other products and systems.
3. Experience diagnosing faults involving hardware and software.
4. Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including hydraulics.
5. Up-to-date medical clearance for offshore work.
Travel: Worldwide coverage with an average of 120 days offshore per year, often on short notice.
