Director, Finance - Genomic Medicine FP&A
At Cytiva, part of Danaher’s 15+ operating companies, we help save lives through innovations in life sciences, diagnostics and biotechnology. This role is located at Amersham Place, UK (or other Cytiva hub location) and is an on-site position reporting to the CFO, Genomic Medicine.
What You Will Do
* Responsible for monthly closing, consolidation, and reporting of the Genomic Medicine OpCo financial results, providing in-depth analytics and commentary to HQ FP&A and senior leadership.
* Support and own consolidation of the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes across the Genomic Medicine OpCo; act as a challenge function when consolidating and pacing financial performance.
* Drive standardization of financial reporting and process improvement across all business areas.
* Support in delivering the key standard work processes including President’s Letter execution and monthly bowler reporting covering key financial and operational metrics (Core Value Drivers).
* Act as the key lead for broader FP&A initiatives (Cytiva transition support, OneStream enhancements, simplification initiatives, etc.).
* Lead and coach FP&A COE resources as aligned to the Genomic Medicine OpCo.
* Provide visibility to Genomic Medicine functions financials, ensuring say/do on investments.
* Be the CFO delegate from time‑to‑time during core financial rhythms such as the monthly forecast review, presenting and communicating financial performance and insights.
Who You Are
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, or equivalent knowledge or experience.
* Minimum 5+ years of progressive financial experience focused on providing budget, forecast, and business analysis support within a large, sophisticated organization.
* Strong communication skills with demonstrated leadership and business‑partnering competencies, focused on driving operational results. Action‑oriented, and proficient in both a supporting and a challenging role with business partners.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills. Proficiency in financial & BI systems (Oracle, OneStream, QlikSense, etc.).
* Strong technical finance and analytical skills, proven ability to use large sets of data and summarize into key takeaways and actions for senior leadership.
* Key competencies include high flexibility, attention to detail, initiative, communication, analytical skills, relationship/team management, critical thinking, strong sense of urgency/accountability, quick learning, and problem solving.
