A global leader in the property & real estate market, serving various sectors including commercial, healthcare, and critical engineering, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Bias Engineering/Technical Services Manager for their financial services account. Based in the City of London HQ of a high-profile North American trading organization with offices across US, UK & EMEA, this role involves managing HVAC and critical engineering services within the building as part of a multi-skilled engineering team plus FM support.

Candidate Requirements
* Fully qualified in mechanical engineering or air conditioning, ideally through a full apprenticeship within commercial building services.
* Minimum of 5+ years experience as an engineering manager in a critical environment such as Banking, Data Centre, or demanding corporate HQ.
* Core mechanical qualifications and experience holding AP status for HVAC systems including Water, Lifts, Pressure Systems, with additional training in High/Low Voltage AP preferred.
* Desirable memberships: ILM, NEBOSH / IOSH, or other professional memberships.

* Pumps, Motors, BMS Operation
* Booster Sets, Pressurisation Units
* Diesel Generators
* Water Treatment, Cooling Towers
* UPS Systems
* HV & LV Distribution (including annual shutdowns and Black Building Tests)
* Water Chillers, VRV/VRFs
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Manage all technical issues across the building.
* Manage KPIs and SLAs.
* Oversee health & safety and environmental performance on-site.
* Plan and execute building shutdowns and client project works.
* Manage quality procedures on-site.
* Recruitment of new staff as needed.
* Technical development and annual appraisals of staff.
* Manage client relationships daily.
* Handle all reporting.
* Oversee the permit system.
