EYFS Graduate Teaching Assistant Immediate start until July 2026 £80 - £100 per day ‘Good’ primary school, Hodge Hill 1:1 and small group support for SEN children in EYFS What you’ll do: Provide steady 1:1 and small-group support in Nursery and Reception. Break activities into simple steps, use visual timetables and now/next prompts, and scaffold transitions so the day feels predictable. Lead short adult-led tasks in early phonics, number, fine-motor and language, then capture brief observations so next actions are clear for the class teacher and SENCO. About you: Calm, organised and clear in your communication. You follow support plans, spot triggers early, and adjust your approach without fuss so children can re-engage quickly. Requirements Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject. Communication – Confident written and spoken English. Enhanced DBS – Held already or willingness to obtain. Desire to work in education/with children – Strong interest in EYFS, SEN and pupil wellbeing. Experience working with children – Nursery, mentoring, tutoring or volunteering is desirable but not essential.
