This is an established 3-Director, ACCA/ICAEW qualified firm, with around 15 employees and a predominantly creative, client base. They also operate as part of a rapidly growing wider group of nationwide practices that we can share resources and knowledge with.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage an important part of our practice and progress to be a part of the management team.
You will manage and deliver the year-end Corporate Tax and Statutory Accounts process and help develop our team of Client Managers. To develop and implement thepany’s strategies alongside the other Team Leaders. To promote our purpose, vision, mission, and principles to all our stakeholders. Preparation and review of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns. Preparation and review of self-assessment returns and accounts. Tax planning and advisory work. Preparation of Management Accounts, cashflows, forecasting and budgets (experience not essential). You will need a minimum of five years’ practice experience, preferably ACCA qualified or equivalent with a good grasp of UKpliance. An excellent working knowledge of UK VAT, bookkeeping to trial balance, fixed assets management, interim reporting, period-end adjustments, and journals. Excellent working knowledge of software, tools, and applications within the Accounting Industry. Xero and TaxCalc in particular would be advantageous. This role requires meticulous planning and organisational skills, inspiring leadership and mentoring abilities, and experience in successfully helping to develop a small team.
