Business Development Manager - Engineering
This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates looking to begin their engineering career in manufacturing. The Controls Engineer will work under the guidance of senior engineers and maintenance leadership to assist with the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of electrical and automation systems used in production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the design, programming, and implementation of control systems (PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, sensors, etc.).
* Assist with troubleshooting equipment, electrical, and automation issues to ensure minimal downtime.
* Participate in process improvement projects focused on increasing efficiency, safety, and reliability.
* Maintain accurate documentation for control systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
* Work cross-functionally with maintenance, production, and engineering teams on project execution.
* Learn and apply company standards for safety, compliance, and quality control.
* Gain exposure to industrial automation tools and manufacturing systems through hands-on training and mentorship.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline from an ABET-accredited university.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, controls, and automation principles.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
