The Programme Manager – Transformation Management Office (TMO)
The Programme Manager is a leadership position responsible for orchestrating the successful delivery of large-scale, strategic transformation initiatives across the organisation. Working within the TMO, this role ensures all transformation efforts are strategically aligned, delivers measurable progress against objectives, and fosters seamless coordination among executive stakeholders. The Programme Manager supports the execution of the transformation roadmap and specific workstreams, and serves as the escalation point for complex issues requiring resolution at a programme level.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
* Maintain the delivery structure and direction of the overall programme, ensuring all initiatives are delivered against the organisation’s long‑term goals and strategic objectives.
* Programme Governance – develop and maintain robust governance frameworks and processes within the programme workstreams, ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective decision‑making.
* Transformation Roadmap Ownership – feed into the transformation roadmap, outline and monitor critical milestones, dependencies, and success metrics. Track and report on progress, proactively identifying and addressing risks and opportunities.
* Stakeholder Engagement – liaise between all members of TMO and all workstreams, build and nurture relationships with all stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and keep them informed of project progress, challenges, and strategic implications.
* Initiative Coordination – oversee the portfolio of transformation projects and workstreams, ensuring effective coordination, interdependency management, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
* Issue Resolution – serve as an escalation point for complex programme issues, facilitating rapid problem identification and resolution to maintain momentum and deliver results.
* Change Management – embed best‑practice change management methodologies into the transformation programme, ensuring stakeholder buy‑in, effective communication, and minimal business disruption.
* Performance Measurement – define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and benefits realisation metrics. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership and the board.
* Resource Management – support resource allocation across initiatives, balancing competing demands and ensuring teams are empowered and enabled to deliver.
* Continuous Improvement – foster a culture of continuous improvement within the TMO, championing lessons learned, feedback loops, and process optimisation.

Working Conditions
* This is a permanent position.
* Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.
* Location: Stockley Park, with frequent travel to Chiswick Park, London for business needs and meetings, and some flexibility on remote working as appropriate.
* Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule, or when working to a pitch or proposal deadline.
* Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate.
