Our role as Lead Providers for CAMHS Tier 4 services brings together providers of CAMHS and Adult Eating Disorder services across the East Midlands to form a new partnership aimed at reducing delays, addressing gaps in service, and improving outcomes for service users, their families, and carers.
Our Commissioning Team will oversee quality assurance, case management, contracting, finance, business intelligence, and organizational development to implement innovative ways of working.
This role is part of a broader team within the commissioning department responsible for clinical assurance of the quality of patient care and managing individual patient pathways to ensure high-quality services and care planning outcomes.
Provider Collaboratives delivering New Care Models serve as catalysts for change in specialized mental health services, empowering clinicians and managers with the tools and incentives needed to transform services for Children, Young People, and their families.
As a Family Ambassador (East Midlands Region), you will ensure the voices of parents and families are heard and acted upon by working within a designated Provider Collaborative that oversees services across multiple providers. You will be involved with inpatient mental health and learning disability settings for Children and Young People (CYP).
This role requires confidence, engagement skills, and compassion, enabling you to warmly invite and support parents, advocates, and families whose young people are admitted to your designated units.
The Family Ambassador will support the Quality & Governance Lead, focusing on coproduction and enhancing patient experience by advocating for parents and carers to be active partners in their young people's healthcare journey. The role involves occasional travel within the East Midlands region to meet with families and young people.
Home working is possible, with attendance at onsite meetings as required. The base location will be within the East Midlands, subject to the successful candidate's residence.
