About The Role: as a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to our residents.


Responsibilities

* Plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
* Get to know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans.
* Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care; be a positive influence on the team.
* Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities; administer medication.
* Maintain accurate records of your work and build strong relationships with the team.
* Show kindness in all interactions, whether guiding someone on use of a walking frame, assisting with meals, or communicating with families.


Qualifications

* Ideally, Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care with willingness to work towards Level 3 or equivalent.
* Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
* Strong record-keeping, time management, and a positive, kind, and collaborative attitude.
