Sheffield Part-time / Zero-hours £13.35 per hour (Zero-hours) | £26,032.50 per year (pro rata) About the Role Career Turn is currently shortlisting candidates on behalf of a client for upcoming Mental Health Support Worker roles within supported living services in Sheffield. These roles involve supporting adults with mental health needs, housing challenges, and complex support requirements. The position includes lone working, so confidence working independently and managing situations professionally is essential. Please note: This role does not involve personal or intimate care. Key Responsibilities Support individuals to live independently in the community Develop and review support plans and risk assessments Assist with daily living skills (budgeting, routines, appointments) Accompany individuals to appointments and external meetings Maintain accurate records and case notes Work alongside internal teams and external agencies Requirements Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) Flexibility to work shifts (including evenings and weekends) Strong communication and organisational skills Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries Desirable: Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent) Experience in mental health, homelessness, substance misuse, or domestic abuse support 2 years relevant experience or related qualification Additional languages (Arabic, Farsi, Kurdish Sorani, Somali, Tigrinya) Working Hours Services operate 24/7 Typical support hours: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM Flexible shifts depending on contract type Benefits Full training and ongoing development Career progression opportunities Mileage contribution Company pension Casual dress Company events DBS check covered
