MPI require a Mechanical Fitter to work on a long term contract basis, for our client based in Kempston 40 hours per week Mon - Fri 7:00am – 15:30pm, with half hour lunch break but this can vary when working on client sites Our client is an established manufacturer of water processing equipment, based in Bedford. They require a skilled mechanical fitter to assist with installations of equipment on client sites. The role will involve travelling to client sites and assisting an engineering team with the installation of a wide range of processing / treating equipment. Experience of working on Water Treatment works is always an advantage. ESSENTIAL CSCS Card – Green (as a minimum) Blue or Gold SSSTS or SMSTS EUSR (water Hygiene) Confined Space PASMA (Scaffold Towers) First Aid JOB PURPOSE To work safely at all times and to always consider the safety of others in anything they do. To deliver mechanical services on defined projects. To take instruction from a team leader.
