The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Representative to contribute in generating sales for our company. You will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships. An effective telesales representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and enquires. The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business. To enable Durbin to become the number 1 supplier of choice for Sexual Health supplies for the UK market. Regular email and telephone contact with existing, dormant and new customers to sell the portfolio of Sexual Health products. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head of Sexual Health department in driving sales, achieving against pre-set sales budgets. Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about our products, answering any questions about products and match this with customer requirements and close sale. Ensure customer orders are managed appropriately within a specified SLA in an accurate manner. Enter and update sales, enquires and customer information onto CRM. Work alongside the Procurement Team to ensure that the team are creating and maintaining an appropriate pricing structure for all Sexual Health products. Complying with GDP practices whilst supporting and driving all regulations in force relating to the supply of sexual health products – both devices and pharma products. Liaise with all other departments, within Durbin, to resolve both operational and customer facing issues via a continuous improvement methodology. Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation. Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales. Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information. Account Relationships Support relationships with clients through active consultation and regular communication – upselling across the portfolio to increase customer spend month on month. Identify new customers and dormant customers to develop sales of the portfolio of products. Special offers and short dated stock to bring dormant customers back to the Durbin business. Administration & Finance Support wider team in monitoring performance against agreed budgetary targets. Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the portfolio. Ensure all customer details are up to date across the company systems. Qualification, Experience & Skills Required Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects Excellent knowledge of English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This role will be based in our office in Hayes where a flexible hybrid working model is also available. It’s important to achieve the right balance between face-to-face interactions with virtual working over the long term. Moreover, there will be flexibility required to interact with colleagues (i.e., it’s not a ‘9 to 5’ type of job).
