Class 1 Driver
HireGiant is looking for a Class 1 driver to join our well-established client based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire.
This UK national company focuses on deliveries to clients across the East Midlands and the broader UK. There is a potential opportunity for the Class 1 Driver to be placed on a temp-to-perm basis, should they perform well without any incidents.
The Role:
The Class 1 Driver will be required to work Monday to Friday. Start times are around 06:00 am; the client can accommodate start times within reason and tramping for those who wish to stay away in the lorry. The work starts immediately and involves making up to 2-5 deliveries/collections of goods on either a curtain side truck or flatbed trailer wagon. Class 1 driver experience is needed due to the nature of the work. Along with Class 1 driver experience, you must also be competent with strapping loads securely to follow HSE and driver regulations.
Requirements for this role:
The Class 1 Driver will require:
* Cat C+E entitlement on their license
* Valid Digital Tachograph & CPC Card
* Safety Boots & Hi-Vis Vest
The hourly rate for this Class 1 Driver role is:
£17.00 per hour, Monday to Friday, PAYE to start
