Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 General Gymnastics Coach to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality gymnastics coaching sessions, fostering a safe and encouraging environment for participants of all ages and skill levels. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop coaching expertise within a supportive organisation committed to excellence in gymnastics training. The coach will play a vital part in inspiring confidence, improving skills, and promoting a love for the sport. The right candidate will be given a Competitive Squad group that they will train and take to competitions
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics coaching sessions tailored to various age groups and ability levels.
* Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with safety standards and organisational policies.
* Provide clear instructions on techniques, routines, and skills development, adapting methods to meet individual needs.
* Monitor participant progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to foster confidence and improvement.
* Maintain a safe environment by inspecting equipment regularly and ensuring the venue is clean and organised.
* Support organisational events such as competitions, showcases, or open days as required.
* Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and any incidents or concerns during sessions.
Skills
* Proven experience in gymnastics coaching, particularly within the competitive sector
* Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate instructions clearly and effectively.
* Enthusiastic and motivating approach to working with participants of diverse ages and abilities.
* Organised with excellent time management skills to plan sessions efficiently.
* Ability to foster a positive environment that encourages participation and personal growth.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to gymnastics coaching.
* A recognised coaching qualification at Level 2 or higher is desirable but not essential; relevant experience will be considered favourably.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £15.00-£30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
