About the Role
An established and respected construction contractor specialising in luxury bespoke homes and high-end commercial projects is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering unique and prestigious builds across Perthshire, Fife, Edinburgh, the Borders, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects from subcontract procurement through to final accounts
Prepare accurate valuations, track variations, and oversee subcontractor payments
Maintain tight cost control and forecasting, ensuring commercial compliance throughout project lifecycles
Collaborate closely with internal teams including design and site operations
Produce detailed cost reports and maintain strong project documentation
Contribute to continual improvement of commercial processes and mentor junior staff
What You’ll Bring
Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
5–10+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within bespoke residential or main contracting
Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
Proficient in cost management software and Excel
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
A proactive and detail-oriented mindset
Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
