Job Title: IT Hardware Support Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Field Services Engineer to join our team. As an IT Hardware Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our clients in South London area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Travel to various customer sites to provide IT support services.
* Install, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of hardware devices including PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, peripherals, and point-of-sale systems.
* Perform on-site installations and troubleshooting in software or hardware environments.
* Obtain and maintain vendor certifications as required by CDW.
* Follow documented procedures and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
* Maintain safety and electric static discharge (ESD) precautions.
* Complete relevant documentation and provide quality updates in a timely manner.
* Participate in the on-call rota and demonstrate flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
Requirements
* Experience with installing, troubleshooting, and fixing hardware devices.
* Ability to install and configure software according to customer requirements.
* Relevant vendor certifications such as Dell, Lenovo, IBM, and HP.
* Good understanding of hardware maintenance and break-fix.
* Full UK driving license.
* Essential to obtain/hold UK security clearances as required.
