Role: Senior Network Engineer (Telecoms)
Location: Remote, UK
Day Rate: £550-£630 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: Minimum 6 Months

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Designing and delivering cutting-edge active network solutions that are reliable, secure, and built to scale.
* Solving complex problems across access, core, DWDM, automation, and security domains.
* Leading projects and initiatives, acting as a subject matter expert in your field.
* Driving quality, consistency, and continuous improvement in everything you touch.
* Collaborating across teams to turn business requirements into smart, technical solutions.
What You’ll Bring:
* Solid experience in large-scale network engineering, ideally with a focus on:
* Layer 2 & 3 technologies (Ethernet, MPLS, CoS, QoS, IPv4/IPv6)
* Mixed vendor environments and tech migrations
* Tools like Splunk, Jira, Ansible
* Strong scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Ansible)
* Sharp analytical and troubleshooting skills
* A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and project planning abilities
* Familiarity with ITIL and network monitoring/inventory systems
* Understanding of the Telecoms Security Act
* Experience working in both agile and waterfall environments
* Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
