Job Description

Location: Clarke, 132A Raceview Road

Clarke are a growing construction business based in Ballymena with a portfolio of work that reaches all over the UK and Ireland.

Due to internal development, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support & Facilities Executive to join our Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to put their own stamp on our front of house function. You will have a confident and friendly manner and will provide an excellent customer centric first point of contact service to all stakeholders both in person and via telephone while ensuring our Head Office facility operates as it should on a daily basis.

About The Role


* Receptionist/Business Support Duties
* Managing internal phone systems & internet, ordering new equipment and checking bills
* PA Duties as and when required by the CEO
* Provide exceptional first point of contact service to all visitors
* Managing a large volume of customer calls and dealing with enquiries effectively and efficiently.
* Meeting and Events planning & management (to include catering requirements)
* Facilities management, overseeing daily operation and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of our Head Office facility
* Line Management responsibilities
* Customer Aftercare liaison
* Open and distribute mail
* Regular assistance and general office tasks for to all areas of the business
* Order PPE for factory and site

Established in 1996, Clarke celebrate 25 years in business. Employing 90 plus direct employees across pre-construction, design, structural engineering, fabrication, operations and management with 180 installers, Clarke is driven by the passion of its people. In 2022, we are moving to a state of the art facility to house our fabrication and office teams under one roof.

Our newly invigorated fabrication facility is fully operational with advanced offsite machinery and equipment.

Required Criteria

* Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) to include English and Maths
* Excellent time management, organisational and multi-tasking skills
* High level of IT proficiency to include Microsoft Package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Outlook)
* Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
* High levels of attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work
* Motivated team player with the ability to work on own initiative

Desired Criteria

* Higher Level qualification in admin/office/business management
* Previous experience in construction industry
