Job Details The Office Manager is responsible for the smooth, day-to-day running of the office, encompassing administrative, operational, and logistical tasks. This includes managing staff, handling office finances, ensuring facilities are well-maintained, and overseeing various administrative systems. Key Responsibilities: Managing Office Facilities: Overseeing daily tasks, implementing and maintaining office policies and procedures, and ensuring efficiency. Administrative Tasks: Organising meetings, managing schedules, and handling correspondence, office supplies & stationary ordering Facilities Management: Maintaining office supplies, equipment, and facilities, including liaising with suppliers and contractors for repairs and maintenance. Financial Management: Managing the office budget, raising purchase orders and processing invoices. Health and Safety: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Security Management : Ensuring security systems are kept updated & company compliance followed including emergency protocols Sustainability Initiatives : Implement and manage Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) related requirements and initiatives to support corporate sustainability goals Communication: Acting as a point of contact for various departments, liaising with staff, suppliers, and external parties including the landlord’s building management team. Tech Support: Liaising with the IT department to ensure technology functions effectively. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Office Manager or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of facilities management operations and best practices. Excellent project management and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in MS Office and ideally facilities management software – CAFM. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
