Location: Secondary Academy School, Bexley
Employment Type: Full-Time | 8.30am – 4:30pm | 30-minute lunch
Start Date: ASAP | Long-term placement
Salary: £16 per hour (PAYE)
About the Role:
anzuk Education is seeking a friendly, professional, and well-organised School Receptionist for a long-term role at a secondary academy school in the London Borough of Bexley. This front-of-house role is vital to the smooth running of the school day and would suit someone with previous school-based reception or administrative experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for parents, students, staff, and visitors
* Manage the school’s main reception desk and phone lines
* Support administrative tasks such as handling post, emails, and signing in/out procedures
* Follow safeguarding protocols for all visitors and incoming communications
* Assist with attendance and general office duties as required
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one via anzuk
* Previous experience working in a UK school (minimum two months)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient with IT systems (SIMS, Bromcom, or Arbor experience is a plus)
* Available to start immediately or with a notice period of one week or less
* Valid right to work in the UK
